Company Background

Levingston Engineers, Inc. was founded in 1961 by Ernest Levingston, who is Chairman of the Board and sole owner of the corporation.

His entire career has been in the construction and engineering field, having worked with two construction companies, the Seabees in the South Pacific, an engineering company and a petroleum refinery, prior to starting this company.

In 1939 he enrolled in the first class of McNeese State University, which was then known as Lake Charles Junior College of LSU. The next twenty years were spent in the military, in construction and engineering, at Tulane university, in taking and completing ICS courses in building construction and structural engineering, in attending and graduating from USNR midshipman school, and in obtaining a BS degree from LSU in mechanical engineering.
